Young Tatum was visiting her dad on the set of “The Driver” starring Ryan, Bruce Dern and Isabelle Adjani. Philip Lathrop was the cinematographer. His stark cross-lighting, coupled with the costume designer's use of black created a film noir ambience in spite of the fact that it was shot in color. I saw Ryan and his daughter just off set in reflected light and marveled at the similarity in their looks.
