My husband, Bill Rollnick was involved with Mattel so it was only natural that I re-lived my childhood and create a world of Barbie as a Living Celebrity. We took dozens of Barbies—most of whom were available in toy stores—and whenever we traveled, a few Barbies went with us. The book Barbie Live was published by Universe/Rizzoli and I had my exhibition at the Mary Boone Gallery, 2000.
